Multi-Gamers Member Policies
Purpose:
To have a set of rules and regulations in place for all members to use as a guideline for acceptable team member behavior and course of action for the team as a whole.
Inception:
Multi-Gamers Clan was formed in December 2007 with the idea of a gaming clan not dedicated to any one game, but rather a multitude of games. We strive to look for those that enjoy a cheat free gaming environment with others who share our ideas, humor and values. It was established that no one person would run the clan, but rather that the members themselves would run all clan operations and that all decisions would be voted on, with majority ruling. This governing ruling alone sets MGC apart from most clans. MGC Clan meetings are held weekly to discuss any problems or changes that need to be made and address any issues that a member or members may have.

Administrative Positions were established to run the day to day operations of each of these departments. These members donate their time and knowledge to the team to have each department run smoothly and to enforce all rules established for that particular department. Admins are also required to attend weekly meetings and be to provide a status update for that department and be able to address any issues brought up by members.
1) Recruitment
a) All recruits must be 21 and over (Exceptions may be made by member majority vote)
This is to ensure that we retain a tolerable maturity level within the clan
b) All Recruitment is done by invitation only -
We recruit from our game servers, players that play regularly with us, is active on our TeamSpeak and registered @ our website – We recruit on a players based on their compatibility with our members, not on their gaming skills. Most invitations will be emailed to the player however, an invitation can be done verbally by an Administrator in TeamSpeak or by Recruitment Administrator with prior approval.
c) TeamSpeak is required – We ask this so that our members and guest’s do not have to have spammed messages across the screen while they are playing.
Xfire prefered but not required
d) Recruitment period is normally 3 months, however extensions may be necessary to ensure personality cohesion.
Extensions or Exemptions will be decided by vote, recruit will be notified privately about term of recruitment.
Recruitment can be terminated at any time by majority vote or recruit can DOR.
Membership will be voted upon by a Member Vote with less than 3 no votes.
e) No tryout BS -
We are not going to make an applicant run the gaunlet or play against a highly skilled player. We want your stay here as well as ours enjoyable - Everyone has personality quirks, we want to ensure that there is no clashes
f) To be considered for recruitment, applicants must be active on our gameservers, TeamSpeak & be registered at our website
Recruits are expected to play on =MGC= servers and be present on TeamSpeak as much as possible to ensure personality cohesion.
Recruits must wear tags in this fashion =MGCr=. Upon official recruitment acceptance, recruits will gain access to member’s area of forums.
g) Team Meetings are held every Sunday @ 8pm eastern time - Recruits & Members are asked to attend as often as possible. Most voting is done during meetings and this will enable members to have their opinion heard and vote counted.
h) No use of ANY Racial or Derogatory language, usernames, clantags or spoken language -
This applies to all members.Those in violation will be asked to either change the offending name, tag or language or they will be kicked & possibly banned - We are a mature, adult online gaming site and run a clean, fun gaming environment - We do not wish to make anyone feel uncomfortable or unwelcomed.
2) Game Server Operations:
MGC Game Server’s are set in accordance to MGC member voting.
a) All aspect’s of the server setup is subject to members vote within the abilities, conditions and controls of the game.
b)No cheating, hacking or glitching
MGC has a zero tolerance for any these types of players – We are more than aware that there are cheat programs out there which PunkBuster and other anti-cheat programs do not catch. We reserve the right to kick and ban ANY player suspected of cheating, hacking or glitching. No questions asked, no proof needed, they are our server’s, we pay for them. Any player which is caught with proof, we will turn over any and all screenshots along with your GUID number to PunkBuster & PunksBusted.com. MGC will not only ban your GUID but your IP as well.
MGC members caught will also lose all team rights, be kicked from the team and any monies submitted be withheld.
c) Members are required to wear tags in this fashion =MGC= with in-game name following. MGC members with children that game must wear the tag =MGCjr=
d) Member’s are not allowed to change their name without prior approval – the purpose of this is for identification, to avoid any confusion of members and guest’s, and to be able to recognize MGC imposters or those using an MGC tag without permission.
e) No spamming messages in game – if a player wants to talk to someone else in game, get on TeamSpeak – it is an annoyance to other players trying to play and being forced to read everything trying to be said
f) No Racial or Derogatory language, usernames or clantags -
This applies to all players (members or public) on all of our Game Servers

g) MGC members have reserved slots within our gameservers, sometimes we need to kick non-members in order to make room for paying members – we ask those being kicked to please rejoin
3) TeamSpeak Operations
a) Only MGC members will be able to register on TeamSpeak and be able to move freely between TeamSpeak channels, public players 21 and over using our TeamSpeak are invited to join us and will be moved to the appropriate game channel by ANY MGC member. It is the responsibility of ALL MGC members to greet and move guest’s into channel.
b) =MGCjr= members will be off TeamSpeak by 9pm Eastern Time – Many members find it uncomfortable to have someone under age in TeamSpeak during adult gaming time due to language and content being used at that time – =MGCJr= members not adhering to this rule may be kicked from channel continuing violations may face lose of TeamSpeak rights.
c) Channel creation or renaming – Only MGC admins may create, change or rename channels within TeamSpeak – If a member needs such a service, then that member should contact the TeamSpeak Admin for help.

4) Website Operations
a) All MGC members will be registered at the website using MGC_ tag
b) It is the members responsibility to check the website for changes in policies, news and updates – Those members that were unable to make the weekly meeting should check the meeting notes for that date to be familiar with what changes were made and what was voted on.
c) No Racial or Derogatory language, usernames or clantags -
This applies to all players (members or public) on the team website. Those in violation will be asked to either change the offending name, tag or language or they will be kicked & possibly banned - We are a mature, adult online gaming site and run a clean, fun gaming environment - We do not wish to make anyone feel uncomfortable or unwelcomed.
d) Member avatars and signature images –
Avatars
1) images no bigger than 140 wide X 200 high
2) If you are not a MGC Member, you will have to link your avatar from another site, such as "Photo Bucket"
3) If you do not have a avatar, you are welcome to use one of the hundreds listed in the avatar gallery
Signature images
1) images no bigger than 500 wide X 200 high
2) One signature image per User
All images should be rated PG13....please
MGC Clan reserves the right to remove any image it deems offensive - we also can prevent the user from being allowed to post an avatar at all if needed.
e) Advertising – MGC is open to the idea of advertising, however the ad may not be in conflict with another ad or company which MGC endorses – The subject matter must be gaming related, and not linked to any adware, spyware or any type of malicious software. All ads will not be in conflict with MGC values ( hacking, cheats and etc.)
5) Tournaments\Competition
Currently – MGC is not actively playing any Tournaments or Competition – MGC will add this section back in if that status changes.
6) Finances
MGC Clan membership is not free. Membership is paid quarterly via PayPal. Members are expected to pay member dues by donating the amount of the total cost, divided by the total of =MGC= clan members.
For example: if the total fees are $60.00 to keep the servers going. That means if you have 8 members then you would divide 8/60=7.5 and you would just round up to $8.00 being owed that quarter.
On average, for the website, domain name, 2 game servers, 1 TeamSpeak server – members currently are paying $15 USD per quarter – * subject to change
a) Members which fall a month behind in paying dues will lose all team rights and access’s to website, game servers, and TeamSpeak – Advanced notice of dues being due is given well in advance in the meetings and on the website. It is the member’s responsibility to the team to stay current in payments
b) =MGC= members have the right to add their input on how the clan and game servers are set up. This means you will be allowed to vote in the polls that will be held for members when a change is in order. Also by being a paying member you have an open slot in the server.
c) We are a non-profit clan. We only need to keep the game servers up and running. All finances are disclosed at each meeting and are posted weekly in the member’s forums for review. Nothing is hidden from member’s here
d) If you donate more then required you should contact the finance admin and let him know it was not an error, and for what reason, if any you would like to have the monies used for (ie towards another server, helping a member pay dues, etc..)
The rules set forth here are always subject to change in accordance with the wishes of the members of MGC Clan – We will make every effort to keep these rules current.
